LA POSADA DE ANTRIGALGO is a country hotel located in the village of Antrialgo, in the concejo de Piloña, in the east of Asturias. It is an old Spanish-American style house which was built in 1950 and refurbished in 1997. It has a surface area of 160 m² and it is in a good state of repair. All the original materials are intact and have been restored. The house is built of stone and chestnut wood and inside it is decorated with its original lamps, old chests and different styles of country furniture which all help to give it a charming, warm atmosphere.

Antrialgo is a small village in the east of Asturias, located in the concejo de Piloña, on the banks of the river with the same name. You will be able to enjoy the peace and beauty of the Asturian landscape. You can walk along the banks of the river or through the woods in a privileged natural setting.

In the same concejo you can also visit the village of Espinareu which has the greatest number of hórreos (raised granaries) in Asturias.

The Sueve Natural Reserve has many different routes for walking and where the "fiesta del Asturcon" is held on the 3rd Saturday in August. You can see the beautiful, wild horses which live in the mountains.

The Bosque de Muniacos (forest of hell), consisting of beech trees, oaks, chestnut trees, service trees, is a typical Asturian forest where you can walk along the banks of the Espinareu river and into the heart of the woods. Monte Cayón has a recreational area from where you can have a beautiful view of the Piloña river valley.

You will also be able to see different religious and civilian architecture of note. The religious architecture includes: the Romanesque apse of Santa María in Villamayor, San Juan de Berbio, Santa Eulalia de Ques and San Pedro de Sevares The civilian architecture includes: the palace of Sotiello, the palace of Sorribas, the twoer of Miyares and the palace of Cutre.

Places of interest which are less than an hour away by car: Picos de Europa, Oviedo, Gijón, Ribadesella, Cangas de Onis, Covadonga, Lastres, Cudillero.

There are also cultural and gatronomic routes to enjoy. Prehistoric caves, Museums, Pre-romanesque and Romanesque....
